우리가 미우미우 짧은 크롭셔츠에 환장하는 이유(miu miu)
어딜가나 요즘 각종 SNS 소위말해 타자기로 번역하면 스마트폰이 바라보는 미디어적 관점 "눈"이라는 곳에 최근 미우미우 컬렉션이 화제이다. 화제라기보다는 그저 우리가 알만한 대형 매거진 잡지에 떡 하니 실리니 덩달아 오벌도스되어가는 기분이 들기도 하다. 왜 우리는 미우미우에 주목하고 있는가. 나는 이전에 와이투케이 패션 흔히 말하는 복고패션의 재부활에 대해 글을 쓴적이 있다. 미우아치 프라다가 만든 브랜드로서 대부분의 사람들은 그저 프라다"prada"라고 알려졌겠지만 유니섹스하면서 현대적인 디자인을 살린 프라다의 다른 버젼이 미우미우라고 생각하면 좋을 듯하다. 프라다의 이전 컬렉션은 최소 딱 보면 "저건 프라다! 악마가 입는 프라다!"라는 감이 왔지만 점차 서서히 더 캐주얼하게 혹은 더 영하고 톡톡튀게가 완벽한 미우미우에 모티브 혹은 영감의 원천이 된 것이다.

"로우 라이즈 팬츠"."로우라이즈의 부활"이라는 말을 쓰기도 하는데 이것도 어디까지나 미우미우외 다양한 복고풍 패션에서 영향을 받아 트렌드함을 얻고 있는 패션용어라고 말하고 싶다. 혹시나 당신이 90년대생이 아닌 00년 이상으로 태어나 "퀸카로 살아남는법"을 보았다면 미우미우가 현대의 유행을 완벽하게 재현하고 있을테니 유치하다 생각말고 한번 찾아보길 바란다.
